Members Perform Street Cleanup in Stroudsburg
Several members of the Tri-County Vettes spent time on Sunday June
28th performing cleanup duties on Phillips Street in Stroudsburg .
This is part of the Adopt a Street Program in Pennsylvania . |

Vettes for Vets Car & Truck Show
On Sunday June 14th the Slate
Belt Corvette Club held their annual VETTES for VETS CAR SHOW .
The weather started out cloudy but turned into a beautiful sunny
day that brought out 150 show vehicles .
The
Tri-County Vettes had 9 club members attend this event
and had a GREAT TIME ! The Slate Belt club did a fabulous
job organizing this event that featured a DJ , as well as 2 live
bands to entertain the crowd . Huge quantities of door prizes , a
tricky tray , and lots of delicious food completed a wonderful day
at the show .

Priscilla Getten , Ed Moscowitz, Mike & Carolina Flannery ,
Steve Jurczyk, Carl & Lorainne Dahrumple . Congrats to Mike

On Saturday afternoon -
June 6th , 15 of our TCV Club Members left the Chestnuthill Diner
to drive 20 miles down Route 33 south to participate in the
monthly Cruise Nite hosted by the
Easton Area Corvette Club
. This popular event is held on the 1st Saturday of each
month at the Northampton Crossing Mall ( Route 33 & 248 ) at
the SAM'S CLUB parking lot .
This month's cruise had
perfect weather -- sunny & warm -- which brought out around 200
cars to enjoy a hot summer night of cool cars , good friends , and
tasty food ! It's no wonder this event is one of the BEST CRUISES
in the area .
We invite all TCV members to join in on the fun
each month ! |

TCV Members Host
Vision Awareness Day in the West End
16 members of the Tri-County Vettes spent Saturday
May 30,2009 hosting a Vision Awareness Day at Burger King Plaza on
Route 209 in Brodheadsville , PA .
This 1st Annual Event was
sponsored by the PROFESSIONAL EYE ASSOCIATES who maintain an office
at this location . They offered FREE VISION SCREENINGS all day long
and distributed brochures describing how to maintain proper eye
health . Visit their website at :

The event drew crowds
throughout the day as people drove in to view the more than a dozen
TCV Member's Corvettes which were on display for all to examine
close-up. |

Members Spend Memorial Day 2009 at the Track
Memorial Day 2009 found club members
Brian Gallagher , Mike Arrigo , and Tony Zarillo in Long Pond
, PA at POCONO RACEWAY .
Our club members had the opportunity to
share the track with the Ferraris , Lamborghinis , Panteras
and Porsches for a fun-filled day of SPEED , SPEED , FOOD and
more SPEED !
Brian and Mike are no strangers to
Pocono Raceway as they are both certified high-speed driving
instructors at the track . Look for their Vettes in the photos --
Brian is behind the wheel of his White/Red C5 Monster Z06 ( # 32 )
--- and Mike is driving his Blue/Tan C6 Roadster ( # 47 Snake-Eater
) .
This annual
event brings out some of the most fantastic speed machines from the
surrounding states - enjoy the pics ! |

Members Attend NCCC Weekend in Ocean City
On October 3, 2008 almost a dozen TCV
club members set off on their trip to Ocean City Maryland.
Some members put their Corvette' s "Rubber-to-the Road " ,
while others had their "babies" safely tucked away in car trailers
for the long trip south .
The weather cooperated nicely and
made for a beautiful Corvette Weekend . This NCCC sanctioned
weekend event provided good times for everyone attending and several
members returned home to Pennsylvania with new
trophies and memories of a fun time for all ! |

Members Attend 9/11 Event in New Jersey
On Sept 21, 2008 Members of the
Tri-County Vettes participated in the 9/11 Memorial Car Show put on
by the Pocono Mountains Corvette Club. The location was the Sussex
County Vo-Tech Campus in very scenic Sparta , New Jersey .
This event helped raise funds for a local 9/11 memorial that the
PMCC Club helps sponsor .
They had a
beautiful sun-filled day for the show with a good turnout of
Corvettes , Rods ,Customs & Classic Cars. Members of the Tri-County
Vettes attending the show did very well in the NCCC Sanctioned
Events , receiving a total of 11 Trophies for their efforts . |
